Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a regional referral center and community hospital. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, and stroke. The position requires ICU experience and offers an excellent opportunity for travel healthcare professionals to work in a scenic area with outdoor recreational activities nearby.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH; education as an RN; two years of experience as an ICU nurse; eligible to work in the specified location
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with electronic health records and ICU equipment such as Baxter pumps
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) and emergency holding areas, as needed basis
- Additional Information: During the contract, travelers are allowed one call out per assignment with proper documentation; orientation is weekly. Candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel status. No block schedule requests are accepted, but 48-hour shifts can be considered, though not guaranteed.
