Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care for patients in a high-acuity environment, including managing ventilators, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The position requires flexibility to float across tele, med-surg, and ICU floors, with a focus on quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification, Basic Critical Care Course preferred, proficiency in managing ventilators and complex critical care interventions.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to tele, medical-surgical floors, and other units; ability to manage 4 to 5 patients.
- Additional Information: Must be comfortable with the ABCDE bundle, ventilator management, and managing common ICU diagnoses such as sepsis, DKA, hyperglycemia, COPD, CVA, and post-surgical recovery. Candidates should be proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac strips.
- Shift Notes: 12-hour night shifts, with 2 weekends per 4-week period, and holidays as needed.
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS certification, NIHSS.
- Experience: 2 years minimum ICU experience is required.

- End Date: 01/25/2027
