Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse for a facility in the specified location. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult and pediatric patients across various medical conditions. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or applicable licensure type. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing. Professional certification related to medical-surgical nursing preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families. The role requires effective communication, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols and standards of care.
