Job Summary
Critical Care Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a dedicated critical care setting with 24-hour intensivist coverage. The position requires expertise in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; 2+ years of ICU experience demonstrating competency in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, post-STEMI care; evidence of relevant continuing education; CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification.
• Additional Information: All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission. No holiday time off requests; no more than 3 days of time off will be accepted. Pass/fail testing for tele/ECG and medications will be administered prior to acceptance. The assignment duration is 8 weeks. Local candidates are accepted at a rate $10 less than travel rate.
