Job Summary:
Emergency Room registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the emergency department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nursing license in the state of practice, or temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience of at least one year in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in an emergency or relevant specialty area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and professional certification are preferred. Additional related education or experience is desirable.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, including triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions. The nurse will document care according to policy, participate in research activities if applicable, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, as well as adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
