Job Summary:
A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a healthcare organization in a hospital setting. This position involves providing post-anesthesia care to ambulatory surgical and procedural patients in an outpatient environment. The role requires delivering safe and efficient patient care during the recovery phase, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Evenings, with shift hours from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, totaling 10 hours per shift.
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, a minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and experience with EPIC electronic medical record system. Candidates must have worked outside of the facility for at least 6 months prior to application.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is not required but beneficial.
• Additional Information:
  • This position involves working with ambulatory surgical and procedural cases, with a patient population that includes outpatient surgical/procedural patients.
  • Team members may interact with students and new hires frequently and are expected to foster a supportive work environment.
  • A BILH (Boston Institute for Learning Healthcare) cover sheet is required at the time of submission.
  • RTO (Request for Time Off) is not guaranteed if not requested at the time of submission.
