• Required Qualifications: Valid California licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) or ENPC, NIHSS, at least 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience, superior references, previous experience with electronic medical records system (EPIC), and recent travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), 3-5 years of ER experience, some trauma and pediatrics experience.
• Additional Information: The ER handles a daily census of approximately 190-200 patients with rapid patient turnover. Staff triage ambulance patients at the bedside, requiring critical thinking skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. Patient demographic is generally well-educated and vocal about care standards. Use of EPIC electronic medical records system is mandatory and work history must specify EPIC use.
