Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) This position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in maternal care. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. It requires working night shifts to support patient needs around the clock, with responsibilities aligned to high-risk and standard delivery cases.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 12/02/2026
- End Date: 02/27/2027
- Required Qualifications:
- One year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ACLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Five or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery, with at least one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years
- High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience is preferred
- Additional Information:
- Enable Skills-Based Hiring assessment is required for this role
