Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility in northwest New Mexico. The role involves providing specialized emergency care within a Level III trauma center, serving a diverse patient population including patients with ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric conditions, and more. This position requires a dedicated RN team member for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license with ADN degree, ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications from AHA, and at least 2 years of experience in emergency department settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis cases; familiarity with moderate sedation.
- Additional Information: The role employs team nursing and pod system, with specific department equipment including Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The unit has 48 beds with flex space, with patient ratios of 4:1 in the main emergency department and 6:1 in fast track. The facility is accredited and recognized for its design and patient care.
