Job Summary:
Operating Room Technician (ORT) specializing in surgical procedures will support the surgical team in an acute care setting. This role involves assisting with trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgeries, primarily during evening shifts, with a focus on patient safety and efficient operation of the Operating Room.

Job Details:

• Schedule: The position involves 12-hour mids shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., every other week, with call required. The assignment runs from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), and at least 2 years of experience. The candidate must hold a valid license to submit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery.
• Additional Information: The unit operates within an acute care division. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter assignments. Charting is done in Cerner.
