Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Nursing - This position involves providing hands-on patient care in an outpatient setting within the scope of practice mandated by state regulations and facility policies. The role includes assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. The position emphasizes family-centered care, patient safety, and professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, 0 years of experience, eligible to work in the state of California, excellent communication skills in English
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory or medical-surgical nursing, strong patient education skills, ability to respond quickly to emergent situations, leadership capabilities, and familiarity with electronic documentation systems
• Additional Information: The clinical nurse will deliver patient-centered care by assessing and managing patient discomforts, providing emotional support, and guiding recovery or management phases. The role involves teaching patients and families about self-care, participating in team-based care planning, interpreting clinical data, and contributing to a safe work environment through adherence to standards and protocols. The position requires active engagement in continuous learning and contributes to team building and quality improvement initiatives.
