Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Days This position is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit within a healthcare facility. The role involves assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and documenting patient responses to ensure quality and safety in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing practice.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in state of practice; BLS certification; 0 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care environment within the past 12 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred; professional certification preferred
• Additional Information: The nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for adult patients with diverse medical-surgical needs. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring documentation meets policy and regulatory standards. The role may involve supervising staff and working with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
