Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Lewiston, ME. This position entails providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 2 trauma center with a focus on pediatrics to geriatrics. The role involves managing a diverse patient population in a busy environment, ensuring adherence to protocols, and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications (required), CPI preferred; 0 years minimum experience; must have experience in non-trauma emergency departments, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ventilated patient care; located within a reasonable commuting distance
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with wide ranges of adult and pediatric patients, strong assessment skills, ability to manage diverse emergency scenarios
• Additional Information: Level 2 trauma center with 4 critical care bays, neuro telehealth for stroke in cooperation with major medical institutions, no Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), utilizes advanced technology including US, bladder scanner, neuro tele computer, Care Aware handheld devices; EHR systems include Omnicell, EPIC; patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics; team-oriented environment with a focus on critical and trauma patient management
