Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse for a healthcare facility located in Indiana. This position involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level 4 NICU setting. The role requires best practice clinical skills and may include floating to Pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Units as needed. The assignment begins on October 5, 2026, and concludes on January 3, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two years of experience in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or higher, and professional credentials verified through Nursys License or equivalent, along with professional references and skills checklist validation
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to Pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Units, familiarity with Sunrise Clinical Manager Electronic Health Record system, and certification in neonatal or neonatal intensive care nursing
- Additional Information: The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level 4 NICU environment, providing clinical care to critically ill neonates. Flexibility to float within related units may be required to meet patient care needs.
