Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse for night shifts in a state-of-the-art critical care facility. This position involves providing advanced care to adult critically ill patients, including those requiring hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical ventilation. The role requires flexibility to float to step-down or medical/surgical units as needed, with responsibilities spanning from patient stabilization to post-operative cardiac care.

Job Details:

• Location: Adult ICU with 36 beds, including 24 intensive care beds and 12 step-down beds.
• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York licensed registered nurse; BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year of cardiovascular cardiac surgery experience; experience with CABG surgeries, Valve surgeries, Swans, and IABPs. Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac surgery experience and skills such as managing patients with complex post-operative needs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to step-down or medical/surgical units.
• Additional Information: This position will start as soon as possible, with an end date of 12/12/2026. RTO requests of four days or less can be considered if the candidate has at least two years of specialty experience. No holiday RTO is authorized. Candidates must apply promptly with their New York license to avoid delays in assignment.
