Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse for a healthcare organization in the specified location. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing open heart procedures. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring safety, cultural sensitivity, and patient-centered approaches throughout the surgical process.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California RN license, Basic Life Support (AHA) certification, at least three years of recent registered nurse experience in a clinical role, with a minimum of two years recent experience in a specialty area related to operating room open heart procedures and minimum of 0 years of experience for this specific role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room environments, familiarity with perioperative protocols, strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Additional Information: The role emphasizes patient advocacy, culturally appropriate care, detailed documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
