Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule and is suitable for qualified professionals with relevant ER experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 2 years of ER experience, Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation not required
• Additional Information:
  • Shift starts at either 1500 or 1900, based on facility needs
  • Patient ratio approximately 4:1 during night shift
  • Experience with charting in Epic electronic health record system
  • Does not require on-call; ideal for candidates seeking a consistent night schedule
  • Must be able to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays; all scheduling requests should be included during submission
  • No previous employment at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or per-diem is required, but prior experience is welcome
  • References: Two recent references covering the last 3 years, including at least 6 months of experience as related to ER nursing
