Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Specialty Nurse position in the healthcare setting. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates, infants, and newborns in a Level III or IV NICU environment. The position requires at least three years of relevant neonatal experience, with a focus on high-risk deliveries, ventilator management, and neonatal procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027
- Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of neonatal intensive care experience, valid compact state license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of patient ratio experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neonatal Surgeries, Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring, and familiarity with Epic charting system
- Float: Float rotation may be required to different campuses, including First Hill, Issaquah, or Edmonds; float to Pediatrics/NBN is possible but rare
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing ventilators such as CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, administering blood/blood products, performing cardioversion/defibrillation, and attending high-risk deliveries. Candidates should be flexible to work holiday shifts, adhere to minimum experience requirements, and meet specific licensure and scheduling guidelines.
