Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care in a step-down setting, managing common diagnoses such as cardiac, trauma, and orthopedic conditions. The position requires night shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as scheduled.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active license to practice as a registered nurse, and certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, and medical-surgical patients. Ability to titrate drips, including heparin, in step-down and floor settings.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes specify submission requirements and the need for an unexpired drivers license.
  • Reporting to Charge Nurse and House Supervisor, with in-house RT available 24/7.
  • Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation are expected skills.
  • No ventilator management on this unit.
  • Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; weekends and holidays are scheduled.
  • The assignment begins on 10/05/2026 and ends on 01/04/2027.
