Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in a rotating shift environment. This position requires a highly skilled nurse capable of managing complex neonatal cases including ventilators, oscillators, pressors, and micro preemies. The role involves responding to neonatal emergencies, performing bedside procedures, and providing critical care for preterm and newborn patients ranging from 23 weeks gestation to four months of age.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state or district, NICU experience of at least 3 years, proficiency in vents, oscillators, pressors, and micro preemies, and certifications including STABLE, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates will be responsible for managing neonatal emergencies, advanced bedside procedures, and providing parent education. The position involves high acuity care, including invasive and non-invasive interventions such as nasal CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and nitric oxide inhalation therapy. The assignment begins on 10/05/2026 and ends on 01/02/2027, with responses needed by 06/13/2026.
