Description
Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in an acute care setting, starting on 10/05/2026 in a designated healthcare facility. This role involves supporting surgical teams in the operating room, with scheduled days and mandatory call coverage every sixth day, including nights and weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, with call coverage every 6th day from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM, every 6th Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and every 6th Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS Certification (AHA), Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) via NBSTSA, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: All submissions must include a copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license. The unit operates within a 100-mile radius rule. Charting is performed using Expanses - hCareBSN system.
- Experience: No minimum experience required for application, although a minimum of 2 years is preferred for considering candidates.
