Job Summary
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This position involves providing adult and geriatric patient care within a community hospital setting that is accredited by the Joint Commission. The role offers a night shift schedule with a focus on telemetry monitoring, requiring a compassionate and adaptable HCP to deliver quality care to diverse patient populations.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of recent acute care experience; experience handling six patient ratios; flexibility to float to other units including Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED); Ohio Nurse (RN) license (or state-specific equivalent); minimum of 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Preceptor and charge nurse experience; experience with total joint, surgical, acute on chronic medical conditions such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic kidney disease (CKD), alcohol withdrawal, systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB); strong clinical skills with adult and geriatric patients.
Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly. The unit is staffed with Baxter IV pumps, Posey alarms for beds/chairs, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators. Electronic health record system used is Medhost. No scheduled call shifts; scheduled shifts may be flexed as needed. This position begins on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/03/2027.
