Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU (Intensive Care Unit) specialization at a healthcare facility. The position requires providing high-level care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. The role involves managing complex patient conditions, performing advanced clinical procedures, and adhering to all institutional protocols.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California State Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification uploaded within the past two weeks; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-5; familiarity with Epic electronic charting system; experience in managing arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, and central lines; certified in infection prevention and able to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in trauma Level I or Level II units, and familiarity with ischemic stroke protocols.
Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable with float rotations to Emergency Room (ER) or Medical/Surgical units as needed; must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; must provide two recent references; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
