Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a rural healthcare setting. This role involves providing nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team within a Patient Care Unit, with the ability to serve as the primary nurse in a critical access hospital environment. The position is scheduled for night shifts, requiring the nurse to work a 12-hour shift, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on October 5, 2026, and concludes on January 4, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN), unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), at least 2 years of experience as an RN

- Additional Information: The RN must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at an elevation of 8,000 feet. Housing is the responsibility of the traveler, with options in surrounding towns and typical rental costs. This position does not accept any requested time off (RTO). The assignment is for a rural Critical Access Hospital in the PCU, requiring competency in providing primary nursing care in a critical access setting.
