Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in Reno, NV. The position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a Level II Trauma OR environment, supporting a wide range of complex procedures. The role requires effective assessment, planning, and implementation to ensure optimal outcomes for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a fast-paced, high-volume trauma center.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Weekdays, 4 days a week, combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NV State Registered Nurse (RN) license prior to start; BLS and ACLS certifications; experience of 2 years in Trauma Operating Room (OR) setting; CMP completed within 1 year of start date.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position involves diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems, coordinating care with other professionals, and managing complex surgical procedures such as Neurosurgery, Da Vinci Xi robotics, urology, vascular, open hearts, general trauma ortho, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT. The environment is extremely busy and fast-paced, serving a 500-mile radius, and the facility is a distinguished Level II Trauma Center with accreditation in stroke treatment, advanced imaging technologies, and a variety of specialized services. The RN will provide care for a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the patient care episode.
