Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a General Surgery position requiring an active NV license and prior travel experience.
Details
- Work in the General Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
- Weekday schedule, 4 days per week, combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Uses EPIC EMR for charting
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required
- AHA certifications required
- CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
- At least one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred, training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within the General Surgery unit
- Holiday coverage required for at least 2 major holidays
- Returning travelers must complete a 13-week break after ending a prior contract before reapplying
- RTO must be submitted in advance and will not be added to the end of the contract
- Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
