Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility location. This urgent role requires candidates to begin by October 26, 2026, with expedited onboarding processes. The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts weekly, providing specialized care to neonatal patients with complex medical needs. The NICU team manages a patient population that includes extremely premature infants and offers advanced respiratory and diagnostic services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state/district, with a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience. Candidates must have Level 34 NICU experience and be proficient with vents, oscillators, pressors, and caring for micro preemies. Certifications required include STABLE, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: More than 3 years of NICU experience.
• Additional Information: The NICU handles neonatal emergencies and provides assessment and immediate care post-delivery. The unit cares for infants from 23 weeks gestation to four months old, treating conditions such as respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, hypoglycemia, congenital anomalies, seizures, and meconium aspiration syndrome. Services include noninvasive nasal CPAP, mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide inhalation therapy, and bedside procedures like IV insertion, intubations, and blood work. The role demands quick response to neonatal emergencies and parental education.
