Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a facility specializing in acute care. The role involves working in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center with a trauma level IV designation, with responsibilities aligned to emergency nursing standards. The position offers rotating shifts and requires adherence to the facilitys clinical and operational protocols to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). A minimum of 2 years of ER experience and prior med-surgical experience are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma, stroke centers, or high-acuity ER settings.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit operates with nurses reading their own monitor strips and performing lab draws.
  • Float to medical-surgical and swing bed units as needed.
  • Work includes holiday shifts, every other weekend, and on-call duties are not required.
  • The facility uses Point Click Care (PCC) for charting.
  • Candidates must have an active license to submit.
  • No in-person clinical involvement expected for this role.
  • The assignment duration is from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026, with an option for extension based on operational needs.
