Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a general medical and surgical unit, with a focus on delivering quality care in a float pool setting. The position involves working day shifts with extensive hours and rotating on holidays and weekends as part of the schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, averaging 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes working every other weekend and holiday.
• Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license or state identification, certification in the UHS Skills Checklist, completion of the UHS Submission Packet, and the UHS Prior Employment Form.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with the candidate expected to float to medical/surgical telemetry, flex unit, observation unit, and emergency department holds.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be part of the float pool, providing care across multiple units as needed, adhering to all unit protocols and standards of practice. This is an assignment with a start date of 10/19/2026 and an end date of 01/17/2027.
