Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Nursing position based in the region is available for a dedicated healthcare professional. This role involves providing patient care in an acute care setting with a focus on medical-surgical nursing practices. The position offers a consistent day shift schedule and is suitable for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in similar clinical environments.

Job Details:

• Location: Region unspecified, estimated start date 09/28/2026, end date 01/11/2027
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that application process has been initiated, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a similar setting

• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles. OSF's call-off policy allows for 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalties. Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable hours, and guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation. Candidates must produce a negative drug screen to comply with OSF's Drug-Free Campus policy. No charting system is specified, but the facility utilizes an electronic health record system.
