Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse in a tele step down high acuity setting. This role involves managing patients requiring post-ICU care, including administration of drips and stable ventilator management, with no vasopressors. The position offers a fast-paced environment where clinicians must work independently and be comfortable floating between tele and medical-surgical units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Nursing License, successful completion of the appropriate nursing degree, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in a related setting. Valid certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a progressive care or telemetry unit; comfortable managing ventilated patients and drips; ability to float between tele and medical-surgical units
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-acuity patients, and performing independent clinical duties. Candidates must be adaptable to floating between units and capable of working efficiently in a high-pressure setting.
