Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing patient care in a designated stroke and neuroscience unit, with a focus on neuro patient management, including telemetry monitoring, neuro assessments, and post-surgical neurological care. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of RN experience, neuro/telemetry experience, proficiency with Epic electronic charting system, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, intracranial procedures, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and neuro stepdown nursing.
- Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit needs.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work three of the five recognized holidays and have the ability to respond to immediate clinical needs. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Prior experience at a Providence facility as a permanent or travel staff is a plus.
- Submittal Requirements: Must include a response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility previously and provide two references. Candidates should not contact facility contacts directly unless for an interview arranged through the recruiting team.
