Job Details

• Position: RN Medical/Surgical (Pediatrics)
• Location: Anschutz Medical Campus, Level 6 SMSC Surgical Multidisciplinary Specialty Center
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, four days or less of total requested time off, with a 13-week assignment duration
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, with at least 2 years in specialty areas including Trach/Vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients, trauma, and rehabilitation patients
• Certifications: BLS required
• Float: Float rotation may be required across various units including Medical, Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Acute Care, Rehab, NICU, and NOC sites on North/South Campuses
• Scheduling Requirements: Modified self-scheduling through internal committee; required to work 10 weekend shifts every 8 weeks; holiday shifts required as needed; RTO policy applies with blackout dates and no RTO in the first two weeks of assignment; must be available to work holidays as scheduled
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible, adaptable, positive, and ready to commence work immediately
