Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Miami, FL. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative care within a busy surgical unit, supporting a variety of procedures including joint replacements, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 2 years current experience in an acute Operating Room setting, orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Patient Access Liaisons (PALS), Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), charge nurse experience.
• Responsibilities: RN is responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care. Ability to scrub and circulate knowledge of all service lines. Ability to work rotating weekends, on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays as specified.
• Additional Information: Must be able to scrub and serve as circulator across all service lines. Rotating weekends and on-call duties are required. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, critical thinking, excellent bedside manner, and proficient charting skills.
