Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical Specialist in New York This role involves providing advanced critical care to adult and geriatric patients within a specialized ICU setting. The position requires a licensed healthcare professional experienced in managing complex medical cases such as sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, renal failure, and multi-organ failure.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Education Requirements: Current New York State license in hand.
• Experience: At least 2 years of ICU medical experience, with 1 year of relevant patient care.
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional information: Must have EPIC charting system experience. Candidate must be over 75 miles from the facility, as locals are not accepted. Candidates will be expected to float.
• Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, arterial line and central line management, and administration of emergency medications. Additional skills required include pulmonary management, CRRT, ECMO, and other advanced ICU procedures.
• Submittals: Candidates must have the ability to bill for up to 5 hours on modules, completed pre-start, recorded via facility report.
