Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) The organization is seeking experienced Emergency Room (ER) nursing professionals for a night shift position in a busy healthcare environment. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients, supervising healthcare staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The position requires critical thinking, professional judgment, and adherence to established standards of care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), RN licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, minimum of 0 years of experience, location in a healthcare facility setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience, 1 year of ER nursing experience
- Additional Information: The position involves assessing patient condition data, developing care plans, implementing and coordinating treatment, and participating in discharge planning. Flexibility for night shifts and experience with Cerner EMR system are essential. The role entails providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
