Description
Travel RN – Emergency Department (ED) | Chula Vista, CA

Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- ADN or BSN
- BLS/CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- CPI or comparable certification – must be an 8-hour course with at least half completed in person
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide safe, therapeutic, and age-appropriate nursing care
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient response
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient and family education
- Advocate for patients and families throughout the care process
- Coordinate care, referrals, and patient progression
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Respond appropriately to complex and high-risk clinical situations
