Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) registered nurse position available in a healthcare organization located in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients within a hospital setting, collaborating closely with the healthcare team, patients, and families. The position requires working rotating shifts and may involve floating between multiple campuses to meet operational needs.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shifts of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid State of Arizona registered nurse (RN) license or a multistate license from a compact state, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, two years of pediatric emergency nursing experience. Childrens hospital experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Pediatric Nursing Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are preferred.
Additional Information: This assignment involves working across multiple campuses, with primary shifts to be discussed and confirmed during the interview. Only approved requests for time off will be honored. Flu vaccination is required from October through April, and COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not mandatory. Staff must sign declination and masking agreements if not vaccinated and adhere to masking protocols during respiratory virus season. The assignment will start on 02/01/2027 and end on 03/27/2027.
