Job Summary
The ORT (Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician) in en_US for a healthcare facility in en_US is responsible for assisting the circulator and surgeon in the care of surgical patients. The role involves maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients during surgical procedures, under the supervision of qualified operating room personnel. This position includes an on-call component, involving once-per-week weeknight call and weekend call every fifth weekend, with the start date on October 5, 2026, and end date on January 4, 2027.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs a wide variety of duties to assist the circulator and surgeon in the care of the surgical patient. Maintains a safe and sterile environment for the patient at all times under the direction of qualified operating room personnel.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, degree requirements, location requirements, and at least 3 years of experience in surgical technology.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: There is an on-call component: once weekly weeknight call and weekend call every 5th weekend. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care. The billing string for candidate submissions is 3.
