Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Sylva, North Carolina. This position involves providing compassionate and efficient care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit within an 86-bed acute care facility. The role includes ensuring patient safety, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality clinical services during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/04/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and must meet the location requirement of 60 miles or greater from the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical-surgical competencies and general diagnosis/treatment knowledge
• Additional Information: The unit has a bed capacity of 24 with a patient ratio of 1:6. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in accordance with hospital standards, protocols, and SOPs, ensuring a positive patient experience.
