Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity available in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the surgical environment, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards to support safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); at least two years of clinical experience; prior travel experience; no local candidates accepted
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a surgical or operating room setting is advantageous
• Additional Information: The position involves ensuring supplies are available, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrub assisting during surgeries, and supervising staff providing patient care. All travel submissions must include relevant experience and prior travel history. This facility operates under a PWP (Pay when Paid) model, meaning payments are contingent upon the facility's billing process.
