Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician operating in a hospital setting. This role involves ensuring all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly decontaminated, inspected, assembled, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked efficiently throughout the facility. The position requires working independently with minimal supervision and serves as a resource for Sterile Processing department staff. The candidate must possess proficiency in Sterile Processing Management (SPM) and Da Vinci surgical system reprocessing.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Sterile Processing, valid license or certification verification, professional references, and a resume demonstrating relevant experience in sterile processing. No minimum years of experience required.
• Additional Information: Call may be required depending on staffing levels. The candidate must be knowledgeable about regulatory standards and guidelines related to sterile processing and compliance. Must be proficient in SPM and Da Vinci reprocessing. The position involves working independently and may include training responsibilities for other team members.
