Job Summary
Utilization Review (UR) Extension Specialist focused on Utilization Review and Extended Responsibilities. This position involves completing utilization review, case management, and discharge planning to ensure optimal patient care and resource utilization within a healthcare facility.
Job Details
- Certifications and Requirements: Must have valid licensure and certifications, including BLS.
- Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: The role requires experience in utilization review, case management, and discharge planning. Familiarity with MCG guidelines and EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
- Additional Information: Experience in skills-based hiring and assessment is advantageous. This position is scheduled to start on October 12, 2026, and conclude on January 28, 2027.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed and certified to qualify for this role.
