Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialty position is located in a fast-paced multimodality lab environment. This role involves providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires assessing, preparing, and positioning patients, performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, and facilitating various procedures to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, with four 10-hour shifts per week. Flexibility is required. The schedule includes 7-10 days of on-call availability per month.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. No minimum years of experience required; however, a minimum of one year is typical for this role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, vascular, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, or neuro procedures is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The candidate will utilize a Cerner electronic health record system across three labs. Responsibilities include setting up and providing equipment and supplies, executing, and documenting procedures, and communicating patient conditions to physicians before, during, and after procedures. The role requires maintaining compliance with SOPs, performing conscious sedation, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
