Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) specialty nurse position located on a unit focused on stroke care and medical-surgical patients. This role involves providing acute care in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on stroke patient management and experience with electronic charting systems. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with potential weekend rotations, offering an opportunity for experienced nurses to contribute to patient recovery and care excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to submit; willingness to wait for licensure; BLS (AHA); minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or relevant specialty; experience with strokes (NIHSS) or TPA administration highly preferred; proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke care and EPIC system preferred
• Additional Information: All submittals must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's driver's license. Unit notes indicate a focus on stroke patients with some overflow surgical cases, and a flexible patient census. The facility is an acute care division with a focus on rapid patient turnover and comprehensive clinical coverage.
