Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in an acute care setting. This role involves managing a busy ER with trauma level 4 designation, providing independent patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts will be either 10:00 AM 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM 1:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses to submit, current certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience; located within the required state or region.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to function independently as an experienced ER RN, self-motivated and adaptable to a high-acuity environment.
• Additional Information: There are no specific float requirements unless requested by staff; orientation involves 2-3 days of unit-specific training. The unit is prepared for trauma patients and operates with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing ER holds, triage, and ongoing patient care. Telemetry monitoring is available, and ER RNs are responsible for x-ray or CT in the ER, phlebotomy, and respiratory treatments. The shift rotations include weekends and holidays, with occasional call responsibilities.
