Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with a focus on high-risk deliveries and diverse patient populations. The role requires flexibility in floating between Labor & Delivery and postpartum units to meet clinical needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS Certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is highly preferred; candidates with bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
• Float: L&D nurses will float to postpartum, and postpartum nurses will float to L&D. L&D nurses must have postpartum experience; postpartum nurses do not necessarily need L&D experience but should be willing to assist in NICU or L&D tasks.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with the ability to circulate during C-sections, and be comfortable managing high-risk obstetric patients. The unit handles diverse patient populations, including high-risk deliveries, EMT drop-offs, substance withdrawal patients, and those presenting with no prenatal care. The team works a rotational schedule and may work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
