Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN - Location: unspecified. This role requires a registered nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or progressive care units within a Level 1 adult trauma designated hospital environment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical setting, providing care to diverse patient populations including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological cases.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse with at least two years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or PCU; EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and charting experience; minimum of one year of travel nursing experience; one year of experience in a Level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last five years; experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend, with expected floating to other equivalent units as needed.
  • Responsibilities include providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adapting to various clinical situations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of two years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU, EPIC EMR experience, at least one year of travel nursing experience, one year of Level 1 adult trauma designation hospital experience or equivalent within the last five years, experience with ratios 1:4-6, willingness to work night shifts, and current driver's license or state ID.
