Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a hospital setting, responsible for providing critical care to critically ill and unstable patients around the clock. This role involves managing life-support equipment such as ventilators, performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and coordinating advanced patient care with a multidisciplinary medical team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys), ICU experience of at least 1 year (floating is not considered), EKG experience, and a skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing ventilators, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), and Balloon Pumps; neuro, cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), trauma experience
• Additional Information:
  • The position requires adherence to a strict 3 strike attendance policy, with a focus on punctuality and consistent attendance; exceptions such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed.
  • Float to similar units such as neuro, CVICU, or trauma may be required.
  • Submission of health system-wide profile standards and references not required.
  • Certifications such as ACLS and BLS are required; physical copies of certifications are only needed if listed above.
  • The traveler is not eligible for shift incentives; must make up any call-ins within the contract time frame.
  • Holiday rate applies from 7 pm the evening before the holiday to 7 pm on the holiday.
