Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in a short-term acute care facility located in the Portland area. This role involves float responsibilities across various units and facilities within the region, providing care for a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to work with a highly experienced team, utilizing advanced charting systems and specialized procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure (compact license preferred), at least 1 year of ER nursing experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, and experience with Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with care for medical boarders, trauma certifications, and familiarity with a high-acuity emergency department setting.
• Float: Float to other units and facilities may be required based on department needs; candidates must have a vehicle and be willing to float as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible to work approximately 3 out of 5 major holidays and able to respond to floating requests, including possible work at multiple facilities within the region. Timely compliance with module completion and references is required prior to start.
